Whew, it has been a long time. Almost a month. I can't believe how fast time flies. Well first I wanted to give a diagnosis for Twighlight. Overall it was a pretty good show. I would watch it again. However, I think they should have spent a little more money to make it a little higher quality. I just don't think it can compete with the other "action hero" movies, that look so real. I think Edward did a great job, Bella on the other hand... I just don't like her acting. I saw her in another film and she was the exact same. I am sure everyone out there had their own picks for bella and edward, but again overall it was good and funny at times. Although the 13year old girls that were sitting in front us giggled everytime edward came on the screen. Ahhh first loves! Or first and only loves! I think that is why it appeals to almost everybody. Almost everybody if not everybody has had a first love, and remembers what it felt like. The books are fantastic and I didn't think that they could make a movie as good as the books! Maybe with all the money they made on the first one they will spend more for the next ones! Well until next time, hopefully not in a months time!

Twighlight!
I know there are fans out there and I know that there are some who refuse to read the Twighlight series, or some who tried to read them but did not like them! Well sorry to say, but I did enjoy them. I read all of them in about a week and a half. I love to read, and when I pick up a book I can't put it down until I finish it! I cannot wait for the movie to come! NOVEMBER 21 2008! I don't think it will be as good as the books, but I am sure it will become a favorite! I think it is interesting the variety of people that read it!

HAPPY LATE HALLOWEEN!!
We had our halloween party Nov 1 so that we could put the little kiddies to bed and have an adult party!! It was a blast! We even had FEAR FACTOR! Cow stomache(which I tried and couldn't even bite a chunk off it was so chewy, let alone pretty nasty smelling!) Ever since I was pregnant and was very sick the first couple of months my gag reflex is uncontrollable! Gross drinks, a coffin with worms, canned cat food! Crazy cats who made it to the end! It was so much fun though, and I loved loved loved dressing up and getting all crazy. It probably took us 2 hours to get ready for the party!! We wanted to go and scare people, but thought we might get beat up or something!! Thanks so much for all those who put so much effort into making it such an awesome night!!!

Birthday Party
I know it is after the fact, but I just found my camera cord to transfer all the pictures. The cake was made by AW/ cakes by design. So cute. It was the hit of the birthday party, and tasted delicious!! Thank you!! The birthday party was a lot of fun. We had a cake walk and face painting and we decorated halloween cookies and had a fish pond with a gift for each of the kids! I can't believe two years has already gone by. It flew by so fast! I love being a mother. She brings so much joy and happiness to my life. I love when we just sit and look at each other untill we laugh! I hope we can keep those "bonding" times when we get older!!

Our Sacred home!
I was reading the long overdue Ensign (2007) I forgot how good the Ensign is. There are so many good articles, and I felt like they all pertained to me!! But I especially liked this article!
Everyday activities in our homes offer opportunities to practice love, service, obedience, and cooperation.
For the pioneers, caring for their homes required heavy labor and protection from the harsh physical environment. Consider the story of Ann Howell Burt. She emigrated from Wales, married, and lived in a dugout in northern Utah during the summer of 1863. As a young mother she had to work hard to keep order and see to the needs of her family. She recorded in her journal:
“Some days ago, I killed a rattlesnake with my rolling pin, as he came crawling down the steps. I was just cooking supper and the baby was on the floor or rather the ground. … I was badly frightened. …
“… A few days ago, while keeping the flies off the baby’s face as he slept … , I discovered … a large tarantula crawling toward the child. I seized the broomstick, thrust the end of it at the tarantula and when it took hold … I hurriedly put it into the fire.”1
Though many of us may not have to worry about tarantulas and snakes invading our homes, we have even more dangerous influences threatening us. Our tarantulas and snakes are moral ones, and they are ever so subtle. They include disdain for household work, the difficulty of holding family mealtimes, changing roles for mothers and fathers, abortion, and the erosion of marriage through divorce, cohabitation, and same-sex marriage. It would be nice if we could beat these invaders back with household implements, but we’ve lost many of our rolling pins and broomsticks.
Declining Home Life
Today it is normal to hear young women describe their goals for the future in terms of exciting career plans. These young women most likely also desire to be wives and mothers, but today it seems more appropriate to announce career goals first. Although we value these opportunities for women, motherhood and homemaking have almost disappeared from modern society as natural and valued pathways for women.
Instead the message seems to be that if mothers have access to modern conveniences to care for their homes and families, then they should be free to seek their own fulfillment. Home is often erroneously considered a place from which women need to break free. Some ideologies would even have women think that home duties limit their full potential, and women and men are tempted to disregard the important, everyday aspects of home life—thus the loss of our rolling pins and brooms.
While modern conveniences have delivered us from some of the work of caring for a home, they have led to a decline in home life. We are tempted to disregard the value of everyday home activities like having family meals, and in the process we lose important opportunities for individual and family growth. Author Cheryl Mendelson explains: “As people turn more and more to outside institutions to have their [everyday] needs met … , [our] skills and expectations … diminish, in turn decreasing the chance that people’s homes can satisfy their needs.”2
In general conference, President Spencer W. Kimball (1895–1985) warned: “Many of the social restraints which in the past have helped to reinforce and to shore up the family are dissolving and disappearing. The time will come when only those who believe deeply and actively in the family will be able to preserve their families in the midst of the gathering evil around us.”3
Protecting Our Homes and Families
How can we successfully defend our homes from this “gathering evil” and progress toward our eternal goals?
First, we need to rediscover and preserve the sacred nature of the home and its purposes. In the Bible Dictionary we read, “Only the home can compare with the temple in sacredness.”4 If our homes compare to the temple, what is it about the home that makes it sacred? One dictionary defines sacred as “belonging to or dedicated to God; worthy of reverence; set apart for or dedicated to some person, object, or purpose; that [which] must not be violated or disregarded; properly immune, as from violence or interference.”5
Apply this idea of sacred to everyday activities in your home such as mealtime, music, recreation, laundry, and caring for your home and yard. Mundane activities can have a higher purpose and must not be disregarded; they give us opportunities to develop and practice character virtues and ethical behavior. By doing these everyday activities, we can learn about moral truths and practice honesty, patience, charity, and brotherly kindness. Everyday work and recreation in the home provide rich contexts for children and adults to make choices and learn from them
Second, we need to make family mealtime a daily event. Today, many find it easier to graze individually in their kitchens, dine from their cars, or go to the nearest restaurant for a quick meal rather than prepare a meal and sit down together as a family.
What are we losing? Family meals have numerous beneficial effects. Evidence suggests that family meals help children have better nutrition,6 fewer psychological problems, and less risky or self-destructive behaviors.7 Family meals in a positive environment also play an important role in preventing unhealthy weight-control practices.8
I know this is long, but I just wanted to get in the important things. You can find this talk at www.lds.org and lots of other great talks!

Friends To the End!
I just wanted to thank some special friends in my life!! Guys I had such a great time the other day! I really needed it also! I am so glad that I have friends around to share my "secrets" with! And to really know that I am normal!!! Friends are such an important part of anybodys life. I know that I can come over and cry if I needed to and you wouldn't judge me! So I want you to know you guys can come over and cry and I will cry with you! And just so you know we lost it. Maybe the next time around. I just thought was so good. So kind of a tribute to anyone who has ever had a miscarriage.
Written by Jennifer WasikIn memory of Zachery Wasik.
I thought of you and closed my eyes And prayed to God today I asked
"What makes a Mother?"
And I know I heard Him say. "A Mother has a baby" This we know is true
"But God can you be a Mother, When your baby's not with you?" "Yes, you can," He replied With confidence in His voice
"I give many women babies, When they leave is not their choice. Some I send for a lifetime, And others for the day. And some I send to feel your womb, But there's no need to stay." "I just don't understand this God I want my baby to be here." He took a deep breath and cleared His throat, And then I saw the tear.
"I wish I could show you, What your child is doing today. If you could see your child's smile, With all the other children and say...
'We go to Earth to learn our lessons, Of love and life and fear. My Mommy loved me oh so much, I got to come strait here.
I feel so lucky to have a Mom, Who had so much love for me. I learned my lessons very quickly, My Mommy set me free. I miss my Mommy oh so much, But I visit her every day. When she goes to sleep, On her pillow's where I lay I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek, And whisper in her ear,
Mommy don't be sad today, I'm your baby and I'm here.'
"So you see my dear sweet ones, your children are okay.
Your babies are born here in My home, And this is where they'll stay. They'll wait for you with Me, Until your lesson's through.
And on the day that you come home they'll be at the gates for you.
So now you see what makes a Mother,
It's the feeling in your heart it's the love you had so much of Right from the very start Though some on earth may not realize, you are a Mother. Until their time is done.
They'll be up here with Me one day and know that you are the best one!"

Exercising!
I just wanted to blog a little bit about exercising. What a great, grand thing it is! And also what a pain it is! Let me back up just a little. Lately I have been feeling "down" or "out of it" or something, I don't know how to explain. I have just felt like nothing is right. (Nothing in particular has gone wrong...) I feel like it is my biggest weakness (that Satan knows) to feel pitty for myself or that nobody likes me or that I don't have enough in life. I feel sheepish saying all this, but I also decided that I needed to talk about it all, to nobody in particular! If that made any sense! Sometimes I feel so insecure about myself that I beat myself up about all the things that are wrong with me! Which in turn makes me get in this slump that I might as well not do anything. It is a sick cycle! I make jokes of it all, but really sometimes it hinders my days trying to be a mother and a wife. Then I was reading vdubs blog about the mother who lost her little boy, I cried my eyes out. I just wanted to run upstairs where my precious little one was sleeping and hug her and give her endless kisses. This family is so strong in their testimonies. It just opened my eyes that all can be lost in a moment, and I didn't want to spend my moments beating myself down to the ground. I wanted to spend them laughing and enjoying life so that if something like that ever happened to me I would be so glad for the time I got to spend and look forward to the time when I will see them again! It may sound like I had an ephinany from this other person's blog, and I think I did while writing this, but where does exercise play a role in all this you ask? Well just today I finally just told myself to put on some work out clothes (something different from what you already have on!) Then I just did it, I just exercised. The difference is night and day an this is just from one day of exercising. I knew of the feeling before because I was much more dillagent about working out during the summer then it just tapered off. I am by no means "cured" but you have to start somewhere right? One foot in front of the other, one step at a time! Ok ok you get the point. But I also decided that I need others input and advice or someone just to listen or maybe even someone who knows what I am talking about or even feeling! Maybe that is a reach I don't know but, I am tired of letting Satan win all these battles! So in closing to this very long blog, I just hope that if anybody has ever felt this way do not think you are alone (as I have obviously done) You do have a Heavenly Father who loves you and an elder brother Jesus Christ who has experienced every trial you can imagine. I know that it is hard to remember that when you feel like you have hit your lowest point, but just take it a day at a time and pray! Thanks for listening!!!

FALL TIME FAMILY TIME
I wanted to write a little something that vdub wrote on her blog the other day! I too love love love the fall. The smells the colors the excitement of it all! And best yet that means the holidays are coming soon. I started playing Christmas music in July! I know crazy but I couldn't help it! I love the smell of Christmas, which to me smells like cinnamon and spice and a little bit of pumpkin(cuz I do like Halloween too!) I love seeing everybody, when they come home, I love spending time with fam, playing games, watching movies, and eating way too much.(Ok I don't like that part as much) Just writing about it is getting me way to excited. I love family traditions too, and wanted to know everybody elses! I can't wait to adapt some to my own family now and when our family is complete. I want to have a large family so I can always be surrounded by grandchildren! So what are some of your favorites? Or some you would like to start? I forgot to put it on my other post but what does everybody do for either date night or for small family outings. Ones that don't cost or ones that do. We seem to always be thinking of things to do besides watch movies, although I still like to do that! Well I hope you all are enjoying the fall weather as much as I. ( I was appologizing for a comment I left on somebody elses blog, but it turned out to be a misunderstanding! So it is ok, I was just feeling terrible so I wrote it on my blog!!)
Hello Everybody!
A couple days ago we went to BEAR WORLD! For $16.95 each ( not including the little one) we got to see some deer, white elk, a white wolf, very small bison, some mountain goats and dum da da dum BEAR! That part actually was pretty fun. They are in a seperate part of the park, that you drive through. I think I enjoyed it more than our almost 2 year old! When I can figure it out I am going to put the video on the blog. It was so funny. The bears kind of scared her! They did have a petting zoo and some rides that were including in that price, so I guess it was ok! Although for an extra $fifty smackeroos you could feed a baby cub! They were adorable. We did have fun family outing!

Sorry
How interesting our mind works with emotion in any given situation. A misunderstanding cleared and I feel so much better! More cautious of what I say or type rather. Thanks! I am sorry also!
upsetting people
I guess I should just keep my mouth shout, and keep my opinions to myself. I hate when I make other people mad, or upset. I feel so terrible and feel sick as I am writing this, and about to cry. Well anyway life is great otherwise!

I officially started blogging for real!
This blogging thing is crazy. I am so addicted, I have already spent way too much time on here! I love looking at other people's blog. I don't know if that is creepy, but it sure is fun! I love that it is a way to get out feelings and share with friends. I have noticed that there are some pretty deep thinkers out there, which is great and I hope I can join in sometime! I love that we can see each others family grow, and feel like we are right there with them. That is what will be hard for me is when the college stage is finally over and people move on, I will miss friends so much. It is really hard for me to make new close friends like the ones I have. The ones that already know me and my weirdness!! I need to learn to open up and just be me, any advice here would be great! Anyway I won't babble on too long, I hope I can make new friends here too!
